1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MyClassDiary ("Platform"), operated by Veloxsy Technologies, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users including school administrators, teachers, students, and parents.

2. Platform Description

MyClassDiary is a cloud-based School Management System (SaaS) that provides tools for:

Student enrollment and academic management
Attendance tracking (QR-based and biometric)
Fee management and invoicing
Exam scheduling, marks entry, and report cards
Staff, payroll, and HR management
Parent communication and portal access
Transport and GPS tracking
Online classes and homework management

3. School Administrator Responsibilities

The school (as a subscribing institution) and its designated administrators are responsible for:

Ensuring accurate and lawful data entry for all students, staff, and parents
Obtaining necessary consent from parents/guardians before enrolling student data
Managing user access and roles within their school account
Keeping login credentials secure and confidential
Ensuring compliance with applicable local data protection laws
Promptly reporting any unauthorized access or data breach

4. Acceptable Use

Users must not:

Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
Share login credentials with unauthorized individuals
Attempt to access data of other schools or users
Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content
Reverse engineer, copy, or resell any part of the Platform
Use automated bots or scripts to scrape data
Misrepresent student or financial records

5. Subscription and Payments

Access to the Platform requires an active paid subscription
Subscription fees are billed as per the agreed plan (monthly or annually)
All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing
We reserve the right to suspend access for non-payment after a 7-day grace period
Pricing may change with 30 days written notice to the school

6. Data Ownership

Schools retain full ownership of the data they input into the Platform. MyClassDiary acts as a data processor on behalf of the school (data controller). We do not claim ownership of any school, student, or staff data. Upon termination, schools may request a data export before deletion.

7. Intellectual Property

All software, design, logos, and content of the MyClassDiary Platform are the intellectual property of Veloxsy Technologies. Schools are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform during their active subscription. No rights are transferred to the school beyond this license.

8. Service Availability

We aim for 99.5% uptime. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for temporary outages caused by infrastructure providers, network issues, or force majeure events.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veloxsy Technologies shall not be liable for:

Loss of data due to school administrator error
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Third-party service failures (SMS, email, GPS providers)
Unauthorized access resulting from weak or shared passwords

Our total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees paid in the preceding 3 months.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription with 30 days written notice. We reserve the right to immediately terminate access if the school violates these terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or fails to pay subscription fees. Upon termination, data will be retained for 30 days for export, then permanently deleted.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Schools will be notified of material changes via email. Continued use of the Platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
